Constellation Brands to Buy Craft Beer Maker for $1 Billion - WSJ
Constellation Brands to Buy Craft Beer Maker for $1 Billion - WSJ
This seems to be becoming A trend. This will be the fourth sell out in recent months. I am not sure what this means for Ballast Point. Hopefully they will be able to uphold their reputation in the Craft Beer Industry. Only time will tell.

Beer and vegetables: a match made in heaven?
Beer and vegetables: a match made in heaven?
Some beer and veggie pairing. It sounds kind of weird but once you check it out it sort of makes sense.

What a total bummer. Cantillon is one of the best for sours. Hopefully they will be able to resume brewing soon.

Check out this nice pour. Don't remember what beer this was but it sure looks good right now.
Autumn Maple
This years Autumn Maple from The Bruery is good but I liked two years ago better. The beer seems less boozy and somewhat flat. Had it on tap so maybe the bottle version will be just as good. I had also aged the bottle I had from two years ago so that probably also made a difference.
What to do in a Picnic/BBQ situation?
With all the delicious craft beer we now have the option to drink, it proves difficult which beer to drink while going for a long session. Although I will always choose quality over quantity, sometimes quantity is the name of the game. The question is which beer do you choose for long days out on the river, or a long day of drinking at a BBQ or picnic. The usual suspects, Bud Light, Coors Light, Miller, Corona, are what we usually encounter. Light, Low abv%, cheap beer. Which is fine but I am currently looking for good session beer that can be consumed in large quantities without breaking the liver or the bank. Anyone got any suggestions?
